Fall Tablescape

Before we all take a break with family and friends and reflect on what we are thankful for, I wanted to share a Fall Tablescape I put together a few weeks ago.  My friend Cassie from South 2nd Photography is a fabulously talented photographer here in the Orlando area.  I believe my first attempt at a tablescape was a success due to her own unique touch behind the camera!  You'll find a few ideas for a child's tablesetting, and decor that can be applied to themed party packages I sell through my children's party business here.
I hope you enjoy what I put together!

Thanks again to Cassie for photographing everything.  The harvest cupcake toppers and favor tags were a freebie I found here.  I had a lot of fun with my first tablescape and I look forward to bringing new ideas to the table (ok, bad pun intended) for my next holiday shoot coming soon.  Stay tuned!!

Princess and the Frog Party

I had the pleasure of throwing Princess Tiana herself a birthday party yesterday!  Did you know Princess Tiana is only 4?  She was as pretty as a princess in her beautiful green gown, celebrating her special day with 10 of her friends.  Because many of the guests were 4 and under, I thought it was best to use paper products, but I still wanted to make it an elegant princess atmosphere.  Here are a few of the items I made especially for Tiana's party!

These adorable Kiss stickers were made by AJ Wrappers.  I think they are the perfect touch to any party, but especially a Princess and the Frog theme.

Everyone enjoyed such a magical day!  Thanks for letting me share!

Fall Tablescape

Here's a quick sneak peek of my Fall Tablescape.  I'm so excited about it!  It was my very first tablescape and it turned out better than I had even hoped!  My friend Cassie from South 2nd Photography helped me out with the shoot and did an awesome job!  She also found the perfect location, which can be a bit tricky down here in Florida where we don't have "real" seasons!  Anyway, as promised, here's a peek...lots more pics to share with you tomorrow!!

Come One, Come All

Step right up!  I had a blast with this Carnival Party theme!  I was asked to do some Carnival decor for a brother and sister turning 4 and 1 years old.   What fun!  I loved working with all the vibrant colors, a far cry from the typical princess "pink" I'm used to working with.  I made some signs which I put on stakes, a banner, cupcake toppers, lollipop stickers and favor tags.  It was a huge party and I hope to share some pictures soon, but for now, here is a peek at the items I made.

I hope you had as much fun as I did at the Carnival!  Thanks for letting me share with you!

I Heart Fall

I really do love this time of year.  The weather gets cooler (yes, I consider 70 degrees "cooler"), pumpkin spice flavored everything is at the top of every menu, and there's an endless assortment of craft ideas out there.  I wanted to share a few things I've made over the last month.

I'm sure everyone has heard of Cake Pops by now.  I make them every chance I get, for any occassion I can think of.  They truly are heaven on a stick. These are my rendition of Fall themed cake pops.  I just adapted the traditional recipe from Bakerella, using orange candy coating and tic tacs for the stem. YUM!

These were my spooky eyes that I found on one of my new favorite blogs of the Halloween season, Lil Boo & Co. They were super easy to make and my kids thought they were the coolest!

The last thing I wanted to share were the broomstick goodie bags.  I found them here.  They are perfect for Halloween, but I also loved the idea of using them for a Harry Potter themed party too!  They are simple to make, and even easier if you use a pretzel rod instead of a branch for the broomstick.

I have more fun projects to share soon...like these yummy treats from Oh Goodie Designs.  I can't wait to try them!  Thanks for letting me share!
