Monster-licious Spa Party

So I have to admit, 6 months ago I had never heard of Monster High.  Maybe I was living under a rock. I do have 9 and 5 year old girls and still, I was oblivious to the phenomenon.  It didn't take long to realize I indeed was not hip, because Monster High was all over the place once I really started to look.  My first request was a Monster High Spa Party, an interesting twist to the pretty pampering spa parties I usually do.

The "scary" Beauty Bar

The Beauty Bar is my favorite feature of our Spa Parties.  Guests collect their spa items in basket that they can choose to use at the party or take home with them.  Every item on the Beauty Bar is theirs to keep!

I loved how the Spa lunch table turned out.  A perfect mix of scary loveliness!   The girls were also treated to manis and pedis, facials with cucumbers for those tired eyes, and mixed their own blue or hot pink bath salts.

I'm glad I learned what Monster High was, because now I have 2 more Monster High parties on my schedule!  As always, thanks so much to Stacy at Pinkadot Shop for the Spook-a-dorable printables and Cupcake Hearts for the Monster-licious cake!

Thanks for stopping in!

Party Dreamz was featured!!

I am thrilled to share with you our very first magazine feature!  Our Jessie Party was highlighted in the birthday party issue of PLAYGROUND Magazine here in Central Florida!  This was a party near and dear to my heart, so you can imagine my excitement to get the news they were even thinking about featuring me.  My daughter absolutely loves Jessie from the Toy Story movies, and I put my heart and soul into making this day special for her.

We had 20 kids here (the most people EVER in my house at one time) and their parents.  It was big day for us!  I asked my talented friend Stacy of Pinkadot Shop to help me with this one, and she exceeded my expectations with the perfect mix of Jessie and my daughter's spunky little cowgirl personality!!

Here is the article, plus click HERE to see my blog post about the party!

Parties, Parties, and More Parties!

I'm back with more party love!  I have been one busy partin' girl over the last few months, and I'm lovin' every minute of it!  Today, I wanted to share bits of some of my most recent parties this year.  I've been to Cinderella's Castle for a magical Princess Party, then hopped over to Borbourn Street for a Princess and the Frog Party in pure New Orleans fashion, and partied under the Big Top for an adorable Circus Party!  Take a look...

This was a fun one!  Princess Parties are my most popular theme, so I really try to make each one a little different.  It keeps it challenging for me!  I was happy with the results!

I've done Princess and the Frog themed parties before, but I loved the New Orleans twist on this one!   Thanks to Paula from Frog Prince Paperie for the sweet Mardi Gras printables!

This was a favorite of mine because I did so much myself.  I loved crafting the signs and centerpieces, its always fun working with so many colors.  Circus Parties have lots of options, so you can easily get carried away.  Lots of fun!!  My favorite part of this party was the Prize Table, where guests could exchange their tickets in for prizes.  It was a big hit!

I have lots more to share in the coming days!  We'll have a Garden Princess Party and Spook-tacular Monster High Spa Party!!  Be sure to stop back in!

Arrrrgggg! It's a Pretty in Pink Pirate Party

Ahoy Matey's!  Day 3 (in a row!) brings us to a very girly Pirate Party!

Shortly after the New Year was over, I started working on a Pink Pirate Party for a spunky little 2 year old who adored Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  The client wanted it outside (we can do that here in Florida in January!) and found the perfect location by a lake.  We had endless activities for the kids.  When they arrived they decorated their pirate sashes so they collect their booty throughout the party.  One request by the guest of honor was Izzy's Pixie Dust.  So I created Izzy's Magical Pixie Dust Station, where they could bottle their own pixie dust to take home!

The children were also entertained by real pirates and their parrots!  But the hit of the party was Jake and Izzy's Treasure Hunt!  I nailed red X's to the trees and placed large buckets filled with sand and loot that the children could dig through.  They followed a Jake and the Neverland picture map to get from one X to the next.  What a blast!!

Who doesn't love a Pirate Party?  Especially a girly pink one!!  Thanks to Twinkle Twinkle Little Party for the printables!   We had loads of fun!

A Family Friendly New Years! (3 Months Late!)

I'm back...with my second blog posting in 24 hours.  (I'm really trying here folks!)  So, I'm still trying to stay in order of events, so I wanted to share our Family Friendly New Year's Eve Party with you.  I'm all about staying in with my kids on one of the biggest party nights of the year.  I know...kinda boring, but safer and easier that way.  But I still wanted to make it fun for them.  So this is what we did...

I kicked off the night with what has become a New Years Eve tradition.  Our photo collage!  They are not big fans of this part, but it makes for great memories so I love it, and will continue to do it.  I'm sure it will get even harder to get them to do this as they get older.  But here is the result!  Absolutely love it!!

My 2 Cuties

Now with the pictures out of the way, bring on the fun!!  I created goodie bags for them to open each hour throughout the night, in hopes to keep them up until midnight.  It was so fun and easy!  Using brown paper bags and construction paper, I made goodie bags and drew the time on each bag.  They were pre filled with treats I found at the Dollar Store and Target, such as candy, cozy socks, and the hit of the whole night...SILLY STRING!

There were no sparklers, no fireworks, but there was SILLY STRING, for the best SILLY STRING FIGHT EVER!!

There were clear winners and losers...

It was a great New Years, and while a few of us struggled to stay up until Midnight, we did it!  And 3 months later, my girls are still talking about our New Years Eve party!!

A Winter Wonderland Princess Party!

I'm sorry, I'm hopeless when it comes to this blog.  Its pathetic that my last post was in October of 2011.  The good news is I've been super busy with my party business but the bad news is I haven't figured out how to juggle my corporate job, party business and family life.  So I'm going to try to take the next few weeks to catch up as best I can.  I know people follow my blog or pop in from time to time and probably find it a bit annoying that I can't update it.  So here goes my first attempt....

I'll start with the close of 2011.  We ended on a high note with this gorgeous Winter Wonderland Snowflake Princess Party.  This was a blast to put together!   We had 25 kids, and we created a complete Winter Wonderland for them.  Inside, guests were greeted to hanging snowflakes through the house with a beautiful wintery table setting for the kids.  We carried the theme through the house upstairs to the game room where they were entertained by the Snowflake Princess from Must Love Kids.  We continued the theme downstairs and outside to the craft area where guests made soap snowballs and painted snowflakes.  But the hit of the party had to be the "snow" each guest mixed themselves and added to our pool of snow, where they played with the snow that was even cold to the touch!  I have never seen anything like it, but it was definitely the hit of the party!

The Dessert Table was filled with yummy themed snacks for the kids like Snowballs, Icicles, Princess Wands and of course the beautiful Snowflake Princess Cake from Sweet Designs Kitchen.

It was a wonderful day!  And a special way to celebrate a birthday during the Christmas season!!  Thanks to everyone who contributed to this party and thank you all for such a successful year!
